The FC-Series cameras are an infrared thermal imaging camera intended for outdoor security applications, and can be installed in a fixed location or on a pan/tilt mechanism. The FC-Series cameras are intended to be mounted on a medium-duty fixed wall mount commonly used in the security industry.
This camera mount supports up to 5.4 lbs (2.5 kg). Cables may exit from the back of the camera housing through the supplied cable gland or from the bottom of the camera housing when using the concealed cable wall mount
A cable gland plug is supplied for the rear of the camera housing when cables are routed using the concealed cable wall mount.

FLIR MCS pan-tilts support both a simple ASCII command protocol, documented in the E Series Command Reference Manual as well as a binary form of the commands, supported by a portable C language library (PTU-SDK). The PTU-SDK is provided as source code and can be compiled on any computing platform. It allows applications to send commands to the pan-tilt over serial or Ethernet interfaces seamlessly.
