IDentity-1 Iris Scanner

Videology’s iris scanner IDentity-1 is a 5 Megapixel USB 3.0 iris acquisition solution, which delivers ISO/IEC 19794-6 iris compliant images to the host PC for iris enrollment and matching.

IDentity-1 offers the À exibility of a UVC based API for the host PC application to communicate with the iris scanner. IDentity-1 can be integrated with any biometric software for iris enrollment and matching. Furthermore, the iris camera module itself can be easily integrated as an OEM component into a larger identity authentication system.

IDentity-1 can be combined with our PhotoID cameras for a modular identity solution for both face and iris recognition. IDentity-1 is designed and manufactured in the USA at our Greenville, RI facility. Our range of image acquisition products serves several market segments in Government Security, Medical Equipment, Banking, Industrial and Photo ID.

API & Sample Source Code

Videology provides a Windows based API and sample code in C++ to perform iris image capture. We provide the necessary steps to integrate our scanner with a 3rd party iris biometric SDK. A runtime application based on the iData SDK is available for evaluation of iris enrollment, quality assessment and matching.
