HD SDI Day/Night Board Camera
The RHPC-HDSDI-2.1 is the next generation in high-performance HD compact day/night board cameras.
This 2.1 Megapixel board camera boasts a high quality progressive scan Panasonic MOS image sensor.
Combined with a beautiful M12 mounted Vari-Focal lens (f=2.8~11.0mm), this camera captures beautiful images and video.
Capture Crisp HD Video up to 60fps
Capture images in 1920x1080 (1080p) at 30 frames per second or 1280x720 (720p) at 60 frames per second. The RHPC-HDSDI-2.1 provides HD-SDI (16:9) output over standard coaxial cable.
This allows easier upgrade installation over standard definition cameras. This saves the cost of re-cabling your installation with special HD or CAT5 cable. CVBS (4:3) (1.0Vp-p 75Ω) output in NTSC or PAL format is also available.
5 Key Push Button Switch for Camera Adjustments
Available as an optional accessory, we provide a 5 key push-button switch that allows camera adjustment via On Screen Display (OSD).
With this switch you can adjust several settings to control the picture quality of the board camera, which include:
RHP-3GSDI-HDMI-S (sold separately)
3G/HD/SD-SDI to HDMI Video Converter with Scaling
Simultaneous 1 x HDMI and 2 x SDI Output Video Converter
During the integration of your camera you may need a few things along the way. We currently have the RHP-3GSDI-HDMI-S which is a 3G/HD/SD-SDI to HDMI Converter with Scaling
What is 3G-SDI and HD-SDI?
Generally spoken 3G-SDI is a successor technology to the well known and popular HD-SDI interface. It uses the same connectors and coaxial cables and is also completely downwards compatible. In a nutshell, it provides an increase in bandwidth which allows both higher resolutions and frame rates through a single connection.
"Traditional" HD-SDI is a global standard, specified in SMPTE292M and allows HD video data to be transmitted as 10bit YUV (correctly: YCbCr) at 1.485 Gbit/s. Ancillary data such as time code and audio are embedded in the signal.
Higher picture quality and frame rates such as RGB 4:4:4 or 50/60p can be realized through dual-link SDI connections. Dual link is also used for Stereo3D playback and record of two separate video streams in full resolution.
What is HDMI?
HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is a compact audio/video interface for transferring uncompressed video data and compressed/uncompressed digital audio data from a HDMI-compliant device ("the source device") to a compatible computer monitor, video projector, digital television, or digital audio device. HDMI is a digital replacement for existing analog video standards. Learn more »
