EXPORT CONTROLLED PRODUCT :
FLIR 320x240 60Hz and 30Hz Fast-Video and 640x480 30Hz Fast-Video (>9Hz) uncooled LWIR Thermal Camera Core products are export controlled and require validated export licenses from the U.S. Department of Commerce prior to export or re-export outside of the United States to certain countries.
Strategic Trade Authorized (STA) Countries are an exception. In circumstances whereby "RHP International" delivers a camera to a customer in the U.S. who intends to export or re-export the FLIR camera outside of the United States, whether or not the camera is integrated into another product, it is the customer’s responsibility to apply for the required export license from the appropriate department of the U.S. government. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.

FLIR AX8
THERMAL IMAGING CAMERA FOR CONTINUOUS CONDITION AND SAFETY MONITORING
FLIR AX8 combines thermal imaging with a visual cameras in one small, affordable package for continuous temperature monitoring and alarming. The AX8 helps you guard against unplanned outages, service interruptions, and failure of electrical or mechanical equipment.
Compact and easy to install, the AX8 provides continuous monitoring of electrical cabinets, process and manufacturing areas, data centers, energy generation and distribution, transportation and mass transit, storage facilities and refrigeration warehouses.
Temperature Monitoring You Can See

AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS AND ALARMS
Streaming video output means the AX8 can provide live video of every installation plus automated alarming.
- Lepton Micro Thermal Core
- 640 x 480 Visual Camera
- IP67 Rated Housing

INDUSTRIAL PROTOCOLS
Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP compliant so analysis and alarm results can be easily shared to a PLC.
Industry-standard interfaces- Ethernet/IP
- Modbus TCP
- MPEG
- MJPEG
- H.264

COMPACT AND EASY TO INSTALL
The AX8 measures only 54 x 25 x 95 mm, making it easy to install in space constrained areas for uninterrupted condition monitoring.
- Process and manufacturing industries.
- Data centers
- Energy generation and distribution
- Transportation and mass transit
MULTIPLE VIDEO OPTIONS
With AX8, you can view its thermal imagery, visible light imagery, or the two combined into FLIR's proprietary, patent pending MSX multi-spectral dynamic imaging.
MSX provides image detail from the visible camera embossed on the thermal image, giving you:
- Sharper edge detail
- The ability to read labels
- Better contextual awareness
CONTINUOUS CONDITION & SAFETY MONITORING
Compact and easy to install, AX8 provides continuous monitoring of:
- Electrical cabinets
- Process and manufacturing areas
- Data centers
- Energy generation and distribution
- Transportation and mass transit
- Storage facilities
- Refrigeration warehouses
