FLIR TAU 320 60MM
• 320x240 Thermal Imaging Camera Core • 7.6°(H) × 6°(V) FOV
The FLIR Tau 320 60MM is the Smallest, Lightest, Lowest Power-Consuming, Longwave Thermal Camera Core in its Class
The FLIR Tau 320 60MM (41320060H-FPNLX) combines compact size, very low power requirements, and outstanding imaging performance, making it the ideal thermal camera core for a variety of applications.
The FLIR Tau 320 thermal camera core has been specially designed for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and allows you to use the thermal camera core with many different lenses. It can be easily integrated into systems that require an advanced, uncooled thermal imaging solution.
The FLIR Tau 2.6 in" camera body volume is possible through a combination of FLIR's 17-micron pixel focal plane array, as well as an advanced shutter design that fits within the 1.5 in" camera cross-section. Since the electronics are common between the FLIR Tau 320 and FLIR Tau 640, integrators have immediate, direct compatibility between cameras, and both Tau camera versions share several lens designs.

FLIR Tau 320 60MM is the first uncooled thermal camera core to combine many versatile attributes into one affordable, high-performance package. Many common controls of the thermal camera cores are brought out via the FLIR Tau GUI (graphical user interface).

FLIR Tau 320 Alternate Configurations
For OEM customers, Tau is available in several additional factory configurations:

- Tau is also available as a lens-less core.
This product is intended for use by INCORPORATION INTO ANOTHER PRODUCT ONLY and is not considered by FLIR to be a finished end-product fit for general consumer use. Persons handling the product(s) must have electronics training and observe good engineering practice standards. As such, this product does not fall within the scope of the European Union directives regarding electromagnetic compatibility.
Exporting the FLIR Tau 320 from the United States
The FLIR Tau 320 cameras operate at a 30 Hz (25 Hz PAL) frame rate. For cameras that will be exported or re-exported outside of the United States, we offer a "slow video" option that exempts the camera from export license requirements. The slow video frame rates are 7.5 Hz for NTSC and 8.3 Hz for PAL. Digital video is generated at 8- or 14-bit resolution at the equivalent analog video frame rate of the camera.

FLIR Tau 320 Export Video Demo
These and all thermal imaging cameras are export controlled devices. Due to U.S. export regulations there are restrictions for export.
Unless export licensing is applied for and granted 30Hz units can not be exported. After applying for an export license it can take quite a few months to more than a year for the license to be granted if granted at all. If the export license is granted government fees are incurred and need to be paid by the consignee prior to shipping. 7.5Hz versions can be exported without an export license but only to select countries, customers and end users.

WFOV Minimum focus distance is measured with the lens unscrewed to the point just before the O-ring groove becomes visible. NOTE: The camera will not be hermetically sealed under these conditions. |
| *2 | NFOV Minimum focus distance is measured one complete revolution after the lens first engages the lens flange. |
| *3 | As measured from the front, flat surface of the lens mount to the end of the lens. |
